Biggleswade’s Beaumont Park welcomes new manager
Beaumont Park in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, has a new manager following the arrival of Angela Abdallah.
Angela has been a qualified nurse since 1982, and first became a care home manager in 1996. She joined Beaumont Park after the promotion of James Sewards, who is now a Regional Manager with Healthcare Homes, East Anglia’s independent care home provider.
Angela, who is settling in well at the nursing home in Shortmead Street, said: “Beaumont Park is a really warm and welcoming environment. It’s lovely to see the residents so happy here - it’s such a stable home for them. Healthcare Homes is also planning to spend some capital on refurbishing the building, which will make it even more homely.”
Residents will celebrate Angela’s arrival at a strawberry tea in July, using their own strawberries grown in the grounds of the home.
Healthcare Homes Chief Executive Richard Clough welcomed Angela to the Beaumont Park team. He said: “We wish Angela all the best in her new position. I’m sure her extensive management experience will really help in her role at the home.”
Beaumont Park has a rating of ‘Good’ from the Care Quality Commission. Healthcare Homes has another 22 homes, Manorcourt Homecare and daycare centres under its management.
