Music

Singers, musicians and entertainers visit each of our homes regularly and where possible, residents are taken to concerts, the cinema, and local shows. We like to encourage ‘sing-a-longs' and weekly music quizzes such as ‘Name that Tune', and we hold musical mornings or afternoons so that residents can participate in the playing of percussion or instruments of their choice.

Arts and Crafts

We offer all types of art and craft activities ranging from watercolour painting, collage making with a variety of materials, stencil or rubber stamp work, glass, canvas or fabric painting, and appliqué or decoupage. We also like to encourage residents to choose what they would like to make and we have regular sewing or ‘stitch-ins' creating bags, brooches and purses to name but a few items.
