The Healthcare Homes Group is proudly announcing news that a number of its homes and staff have been shortlisted for prestigious industry awards. The Dementia Care Awards and the National Care Awards both announced their finalists this month and four of the group’s homes were announced in the shortlist of a number of categories.
The finalists are:
- Bilney Hall in Dereham Norfolk: Mariah Maund in the ‘Best Apprentice’ category of the National Care Awards and resident Graham Mason in the ‘Best Resident Contribution’ of the Dementia Care Awards
- Sandown Park in Windsor: Finalist in the ‘Best Dementia Garden’ and ‘Best Dementia Interior Design’ of the Dementia Care Awards
- Blandford Grange in Blandford Forum: Debbie Hunter in the ‘Best Housekeeper’ category of the National Care Awards
- Ashley Gardens in Maidstone: Sullivan Elliott in the ‘Best Apprentice’ category of the National Care Awards
The annual Dementia Care awards, organised by The Journal of Dementia Care, recognise the very best people in the dementia care sector, whose exceptional work and contributions make better, person-centred care a reality.
The National Care Awards are organised by ‘Caring Times’ magazine and celebrate the very best people in the long-term care sector, by highlighting excellence and rewarding those who work tirelessly to provide consistently outstanding care.
Judging days for both awards will take place on Friday 29th September and winners will be announced at special ceremonies in November.
