The residents at Meadow House Nursing Home in Swaffham were in for an audio treat when visited by ukulele band ‘What No Cake’. The 13 members of the band entertained everyone for the afternoon with a range of songs.
Belinda Jones, activities coordinator said: “We had the most wonderful afternoon! 13 members of 'What no cake?' ukulele band travelled from Suffolk to entertain. It was arranged by Martin who also played, and the brother in law of one of our residents Christine.
“It was also Thomas's birthday and a ukulele 'Happy Birthday' was serenaded to him! They were the most fabulous group of people, giving up their time and travelling to the home. A huge thank you to you all!”
