Saturday 21st April 2pm-4pm
The Malthouse residential home, in Gillingham, Dorset, is inviting the local community to join residents in celebrating this year’s National Care Home Open Day, one of the biggest care home events of the year.
Friends, family and the local community are invited to join staff and residents at the home on Saturday 21st April for a special 1960s-inspired party. Starting at 2pm, Justin Daish will be at the home to entertain everyone, singing popular songs from the 1960s era. Refreshments will be available for all to enjoy.
National Care Home Open Day encourages care homes across the UK to open their doors and connect with the wider local community, and develop stronger, lasting relations across the generations.
Across the Healthcare Homes group, the theme for this year’s open days has been agreed as “Meet your Neighbours”. So please do come along and celebrate with your local care home.
