Case Study: Trainee Nursing Associate – Tracy Eves24th June 2020
Healthcare Homes is proud to have been one of the first social care providers to offer its care staff the opportunity to undertake the Training Nursing Associates programme in East Anglia.
The programme, which is managed by the University of East Anglia in partnership with Norfolk and Waveney STP, enables health care assistants to achieve a foundation degree and, once registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, means they become a fully registered Nursing Associate.
Nursing Associates work as a vital part of the wider nursing team, which sits between health and care assistants and registered nurses.
The training includes a mixture of hands on experience in the workplace, supported by learning in the classroom.
Tracy Eves from Meadow House Nursing Home in Swaffham has fully embraced the Trainee Nursing Associate training and has been profiled in a case study by NHS Health Education England.
The case study on Tracy can be read here:
Healthcare Homes is pleased to have flown the flag for social care and offer colleagues the opportunity to undertake this training and offer a new career progression opportunity for health care practitioners across the Group.
Well done Tracy!Back
