Our residential and nursing homes are located in Suffolk, Norfolk, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Dorset, Kent, Avon, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Middlesex, Berkshire and East Sussex and include specialist teams who care for the elderly, people living with dementia or physical disabilities.
Respite and day care services are available in all of our homes, for people looking for temporary support.
We also provide care to people in their own homes from our 12 homecare locations, under our Manorcourt Homecare brand. This includes support with daily routines, medication, errands, hospital-to-home support, personal care, through to 24-hour live-in care.

The Healthcare Homes central office is based in Colchester, Essex.
Here, the senior management team is responsible for the overall management of the group and strict adherence to care guidelines and governance.
Supported by an administration team, the management team oversees a range of business functions including HR, training, health and safety, marketing and finance.
Gordon joined Healthcare Homes in October 2016 as Commercial Director and was appointed to CEO in April 2017. Gordon has overall responsibility for the group, including Finance, Business Development, HR, Quality, Clinical Governance and Operations.
Gordon, who is a chartered accountant by profession, initially started in the health and social care sector in 2001 as Financial Director for a national care operator, having previously worked with Ernst & Young. He has a proven track record in delivering sustained growth and is focused on supporting Healthcare Homes’ founders in integrating both organic and acquisition-based development opportunities into the existing portfolio.
Mathew has worked with Healthcare Homes since 2008. Before joining, he worked as a Chartered Accountant, carrying out audit work on the organisation whilst working for another company. He specialised in large corporate organisations and gained exposure to a number of complex business cases. Mathew was later approached by Healthcare Homes to join their finance division.
Previously Group Financial Controller, Matt manages a finance team of 15 people across the group. Matt became a member of the Healthcare Homes Group Holdings board in October 2017.
Helen joined the team in the newly formed role of Group Chief Operating Officer in May 2017. Helen, who is a qualified registered nurse, has many years operational experience in the industry most recently having responsibility for a division of 65 homes with Barchester Healthcare. Helen delivers strategic operational and quality assurance support to the group, as it continues on its journey of development and growth.
Maggie is a qualified registered nurse who started her career at the Freeman Hospital, before an established career in the healthcare industry.
Following her initial role of staff nurse, Maggie moved into midwifery before spending some time overseas in the field of paediatrics. Her first directorship came in 1988 as Director of Quality Assurance & Utilisation Management. Maggie returned to the UK in 1993 and for the next 15 years continued her career in quality and clinical governance for a national provider of private hospitals. Maggie spent some time working in a senior role for the NHS before spending 4 years as a Director of Quality & Assurance for a national leading independent provider of health services. Maggie continued her career as a consultant providing regulatory compliance consultancy to large private healthcare providers.
Maggie joined Healthcare Homes Group in November 2016 and provides strategic leadership and expertise in all matters of governance. Maggie is focused on developing, implementing and maintaining clinical governance policy and procedures across the group.
Janice began her career in the social care sector in 1992 in a residential care home setting. Following a demand at the time to provide care to people in their own homes, Janice embarked on setting up a homecare service and Manorcourt Homecare began in 1999.
Janice was critical in the growth of the company, from its first few clients to an established homecare provider now with approximately 1800 clients. Janice has been instrumental in Manorcourt Homecare having a reputation for delivering specialist care and support services from its 16 branch locations in East Anglia and Greater London.
Janice is a motivational leader and a role model, sharing her expertise in all matters of homecare. She is passionate about providing person centred care and support services to people in their own homes. Janice is focused and committed to ensure every customer receives a first class service.
Sam initially started in the health and social care sector in 2000, having spent the previous 12 years working for Royal Mail. Sam’s career in the sector began when she joined a not for profit housing and care provider. During this time she gained her Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and continues to be a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. In 2009 Sam moved into the private sector working for a national care provider before moving to the Healthcare Homes Group in September 2015 as Head of HR. An internal promotion for Sam saw her assume the role of HR Director in October 2016.
Sam is a proven leader with significant experience of leading and delivering complex people projects. Sam leads the HR department in providing a high-quality service across the full functional range of responsibilities and provides strategic HR leadership and expertise.
The Healthcare Homes Group appointed Anthony Beorby in the newly formed position of ‘Operations Director – Care Homes’ in October 2018.
Anthony joined the group to oversee the operational direction of the Group’s 45 care homes, which provide residential, nursing and dementia focused care to over 1,800 residents in homes located in Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Middlesex, East Sussex, Kent, Dorset and Bristol.
He joined the team having spent over three decades in the care industry, where he previously held senior regional and operational director roles for a national care group.
Prior to this, he was the registered home manager for several homes, has held positions at local authorities and is also a registered nurse.
David, joined the company in May 2018 as Head of Estates and Property Services, being responsible for managing the Group’s portfolio of 45 residential and nursing care homes. This includes coordinating a large team of external contractors and implementing standardised procedures to ensure the smooth running of all homes. After 11 months of David working for the group he was promoted to Director of Estates and Property Services.
Prior to joining the Healthcare Homes Group, David worked for Cygnet Healthcare for three years, where he was responsible for the facilities management of over 30 mental health hospitals. He also worked with the NHS, including at its Imperial College and UCL Universities, where he ran the estates services for many London hospitals.
More than 2,300 staff manage our 45 homes, providing 24 hour a day, 7 day per week care to up to 1,800 residents.
Dedicated roles are in place throughout the group to ensure that every need is catered for, with every home run by a trained and qualified home manager.
Each home benefits from care providers, domestic assistants, activities teams, catering teams and specialists providing everything the homes require. In homes offering nursing care, qualified practitioners provide the medical support our residents need to keep them happy and healthy in their home setting.
Alongside this, through our homecare provision Manorcourt Homecare, our team of community care assistants visit clients at home providing a range of personal care services to enable them to stay in their own homes for as long as possible.
