Service Development

At Healthcare Homes, quality of care is at the forefront of everything we do.  We take pride in ensuring our staff are caring, motivated and receive continuous training and development. All of our residential facilities and our domiciliary care branches have been rated good or excellent by the Care Quality Commission inspection ratings, before this rating model was abolished.


Performance Management

We have rigorous performance management and monitoring in place to assess existing services and to identify ways in which our services can be further developed and enhanced.  Our robust clinical governance, finance and IT structures ensure that our operations standards are consistent and is well placed to scale as the group continues to expand.


Investors in People

Healthcare Homes works to the Investors in People framework, which is the UK’s leading people management standard. It specialises in transforming business performance through people and over a third of the UK’s workforce uses Investors in People today.


Care Pathways

We are continually evolving the range of services we provide in order to meet the future needs of both residents and purchasers. Our clinical expertise, range of services, residential facilities and care in the community are designed to provide continuing, appropriate care pathways that aim to prevent the need for hospital admissions, or enable early discharges from acute settings.

Our care teams are also trained in providing sensitive palliative care, following the highly regarded Liverpool Care Pathway guidelines.


Gold Standard Framework

The Gold Standards Framework Care Homes (GSFCH) is a three stage quality assurance programme that enables care homes to provide quality care for all residents nearing the end of life. By implementing improved coordination and better organisation, the Gold Standard Framework helps us deliver better patient outcomes in line with their needs and preferences.


Quality Assurance

We are regularly commended by inspectors for the high standards of quality assurance systems and processes that we have in place across the business and in each and every one of our homes. From health and safety compliance, fire safety compliance, food hygiene monitoring and controls, through to rigorous staff training and monitoring. Our Annual Quality Assurance survey is also designed to monitor performance and service levels and obtains feedback from all stakeholders, including residents, next-of-kin and staff.
