Healthcare Homes - The Old Vicarage Infocus Newsletter Issue 1

I have worked at The Old Vicarage since 1998 in various roles and was fortunate enough to become registered manager in 2016. I love the home and I am very passionate about the care we deliver to our residents. As a team we strive to provide the highest quality of care in an environment that is safe, secure and friendly, whilst encouraging the residents to maintain their independence. The Old Vicarage offers a homely, relaxed atmosphere, and friends and family are always welcome. This year we have welcomed two new care managers, Elaine Bevis and Teresa Richards. We also have a new activities co-ordinator, Gillian Webb who has also settled into our outstanding team. All have already proved to be an asset and a breath of fresh air. This year we have also received two great awards: Platinum status for end of life care and The Cinnamon Trust awarded us as pet friendly home of the year! We were absolutely thrilled to have won these very special awards. I would like to thank my entire team for their continuous support, hard work and professionalism. We will work hard to build on this and to ensure that The Old Vicarage remains a centre of excellence for quality care. My door is always open if you have any questions or queries or just want to pop in for a cuppa and a chat.  HealthcareHomes p4 p2 p5 L.Turner Welcome from Home Manager, Louise Turner The Old Vicarage Inside this issue...
