FAQs

How do I know if a family member needs care or support?

You can look for subtle changes in behaviour or signs that a family member may be struggling with day-to-day activities. Perhaps they are no longer doing activities that would have ordinarily been part of their daily or weekly routine. Perhaps they are sleeping more during the day or have difficulty moving around. Monitor for a change in appetite, confusion, or a decline in general mental or physical wellbeing. Perhaps their care has changed, or household chores are becoming too much for them to handle. These are all signs that they may be finding it difficult to maintain their independence.
