Foxearth Lodge Dog Show with celebrity judge Peter Purves

Foxearth Lodge, in Woodbridge Suffolk, was abuzz with excitement as it hosted its annual Foxearth Dog Show, featuring the legendary Blue Peter presenter and Crufts commentator, Peter Purves, as the guest judge.

The paw-fect day!

The event drew a vibrant crowd of relatives and locals, all eager to showcase their beloved pooches and compete for top honours in various categories. The day was a resounding success, filled with joy and impressive canine performances.

The dogs competed in categories such as Most Pawesome Eyes, Best Rescue Pooch, Waggiest Tail, Best Tricks, Dog That the Judge Wants to Take Home, Most Obedient Doggo, Dog Most Like Its Owner, Best Dressed Dog, Residents’ Choice, and the prestigious Best in Show.

A friendly face

Peter Purves, with a real love for dogs, provided expert commentary and judgement. Highlights of the event included impressive stunts in the Best Tricks category and creatively costumed canines in the Best Dressed Dog category. The Residents’ Choice award allowed residents to vote for their favourite pooch.

The grand finale, the Best in Show award, crowned the top dog that stood out across all categories. The winning dog received a special trophy, a basket of treats, and, of course, endless cuddles from the audience.
