Care Centres in Chichester and Hampshire join Healthcare Homes

Healthcare Homes is delighted to welcome two new homes to the Group. Tenchley Manor Nursing Home in Chichester and Bedhampton Nursing and Specialist Care Unit in Hampshire, become part of Healthcare Homes from July 15th.

Tenchley Manor and Bedhampton both offer nurse led specialist care for residents with complex conditions such as motor neurone disease, Huntington’s disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke complications and complex cardiac conditions. Their teams provide care for adults of all ages, including those of advanced years.

The teams at Tenchley and Bedhampton share our values of caring with compassion, respecting dignity and working closely with residents to understand both their unique care needs and interests.

Tenchley Manor offers accommodation for up to 37 residents. Most rooms provide ensuite facilities, with access to assisted medical baths and wet rooms. Bedhampton can accommodate up to 49 residents including a purpose-built, 20-bed wing. Most of the rooms at Bedhampton offer ensuite facilities with specialised baths to ensure comfort and safety for residents. Additional services such as visiting hairdressers, chiropodists and physiotherapists ensure residents always feel their best.

Both Tenchley Manor and Bedhampton Nursing Homes are situated in beautiful surroundings, providing a relaxing environment for residents. Tenchley Manor’s spacious gardens extend to the shoreline, with sea views over the English Channel and Solent, to the Isle of Wight. Bedhampton enjoys a large conservatory, with access to a sensory courtyard garden that leads onto lawns with mature trees.
