Manorcourt Homecare – Thetford Branch carer Chris Vasey has been thanked for his care and compassion in a letter of praise from a service user and her family.
In her letter the Thetford resident writes to thank Manorcourt Homecare for their wonderful care for Mary, in particular from Chris and gives examples of the positive practice which Chris undertakes to support Mary and the impact that this has made to her.
The letter states that wonderful care has been provided for Mary who is living with dementia – allowing her to continue to live an independent life in her own home. Chris attends the home with “a whole demeanour of kindness, compassion, understanding and willingness to please – his conscientiousness and quality of work is brilliant.”
The relative adds that the care provided from Manorcourt Homecare “gives a sense of relief, knowing that the person one cares for is indeed looked after and safe in every possible way.”
Branch Manager Jeni Cawkill said, “It is wonderful to receive such positive feedback from our service users. To recognise the praise for Chris we invited him into the branch and presented him with a certificate of appreciation and a bottle of his favourite drink.
“Our regional manager Rosemary Judd thanked Chris for his dedication and explained the impact his care and support has on Mary and all of his clients. Chris has worked hard and his commitment has seen him move more recently into a mentor position for other members of the Manorcourt Homecare team.”
