Grease is the word as homes take part in Felixstowe carnival

Grease most certainly was the word at Foxgrove and Maynell House in #Felixstowe as the residents, relatives and staff prepared for and took part in the town carnival.

This year’s theme was ‘Magic of the Musicals’ and the team pulled out all the stops to have a Grease-themed float in the parade with their own Danny and Sandy as well as the Pink Ladies – including Home Manager Leanne Greaves as Frenchie.

Residents from Foxgrove, and sister home Maynell House, lined the street to watch the fun-filled parade go past, with extra big cheers for their own float.

Leanne said it was a great event and very much enjoyed by everyone involved. The homes were the proud winners of the Dave Low Trophy for Best Technical Design.
