A special cake was prepared for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee party at Shipdham Manor in Norfolk.
The party, originally planned for the garden had to be moved indoors thanks to the good old British weather but a good time was had by all.
Home Manager Keiley Spiller said, “We had a fantastic afternoon for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee party. We wanted to do this in the garden but the weather didn’t hold so we improvised. Some of the residents said how this reminded them of the old days. We all had a sing a long to old songs and there was plenty of delicious food prepared in our kitchens.”
Shipdham Manor is rated Good by the Care Quality Commission and has a 9.8 out of 10 score on independent review site carehome.co.uk
