To special mums at The Chase

At The Chase in Watford Mothers’ Day preparations are under way with residents, relatives and staff writing about how special their mums are.

Resident Kathy has this special message from her daughter Susan.

“My mum is the kindest loving person I know. She has spent her life helping others as a nurse and then working in care homes as an activities coordinator. After she retired she would still help others by visiting them or shopping for them.

Her family are her life and she was so dedicated to my dad and me and my two sisters. She always put us first before herself. I love my mum to bits and she means the world to me. “

The Chase Activities Co-Ordinator Naz sent this lovely message to her mum.

“You only get one Mum in your life. Everything I’ve learned that’s worth knowing, I learned from my mother. My Mum is the kindest person that I have ever known. She spent her whole life to look after everyone around her. My dad had a big stroke at the age 35, and therefore he wasn’t able to work. My mum worked as a Human resources chief executive for Iranian National TV and she worked more than 40 years. She worked hard to raise me and my sisters up, to look after my dad and my grandmothers as they both lived with us. Also she raised my cousin up as he lost his parents in car accident and he came to us since he was two years old. My mum helped all people who needed help in their life. She also helped to many charities and supported students with their finances issues to finish their school. We all are very proud of her as she is a true model for all of us for her kindness, strength, thoughtfulness, responsible and human being. My Mother to me and who ever knows her, is a true Hero.

Looking into my mother’s eyes is like looking into the depths of the universe. May her strength, her love, her devotion, her fears, and her spirit be reflected in mine.

Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing Mum! Love you so much.”

Olinta’s family paid tribute to their very special mum.

From her daughter Vino Xavier – “I call my mum ‘ Mamma Bear’ because she knows how to protect her little cubs, she always says the right words to make me feel better, she cuddles me when I need it the most… she has the most beautiful smile to light up a room and her love and kindness is unconditional, I love you my Mamma Bear Happy Mother’s Day. “

And from her son and family – “Mum loves to dance. She hears music and she comes alive!!! She has a cheeky little face and twinkling eyes!!! She is full of creativity. We love her. She is a very special lady. We wish you a happy Mother’s Day. Love Jason, Elizabeth, Isabella , Alexander and Theodore.”

Happy Mothers’ Day to all our mums.
