Twenty years’ service award for Maureen at Home Close

Activities co-ordinator Maureen Dell has been keeping residents happy at Home Close in Fulbourn, Cambridgeshire for over 20 years.

She was recently presented with a recognition certificate, gift and flowers to mark her long service at the home.

Her activities team colleague Naomi Willis said, “Maureen is a valued member of the team here and everyone loves and appreciates what she does. Maureen used to be full time but is now in every weekend and gets to know the residents and families well.”

Favourite weekend activities which are organised by Maureen include poetry readings, ‘Name that Tune’ and reminiscence sessions as well as individual 1- 1 activities with residents who prefer them.
