Our values – Committed, Compassionate and Caring – set out our work culture. A culture we call ‘the Healthcare Homes family’, where every member of our work family supports and cares for each other with the same dedication as we do our residents and clients.
We pride ourselves in investing in our teams because, without you, we could not provide the high standards of care that we have been recognised for by the Care Quality Commission, our statutory regulator and Local Authorities.
We strive to ensure that your job is both rewarding and satisfying, and are committed to providing ongoing training, recognition and support.

Whatever your ambitions, if you have the right attitude and motivation, we’ll support you to develop your talents and your career with us. This could mean climbing the career ladder to a management position or even moving to a completely different role or discipline entirely. If you’re committed to the people we support, we’re committed to supporting you and your aspirations.
No one likes to feel like their hard work has gone unnoticed, which is why we like to make a big deal about the little things. From little impromptu gestures to more formal recognition and long-service awards, we strive to make sure everyone in the Healthcare Homes family knows how valued they are.
Every member of the Healthcare Homes family is a unique individual with their own background, identity and circumstances. We celebrate this diversity and wholeheartedly believe that everyone should feel valued, accepted and supported to succeed at work.
We recognise that being emotionally healthy is just as important as being physically healthy. That’s why we offer unlimited access to our Employee Assistance Programme – offering financial and legal support as well as counselling services – to help you navigate and overcome any mental health challenges that come your way.
No one understands how much you can achieve through a career with Healthcare Homes better than recently retired Operations Director for homecare, Janice King.
30 years ago, Janice started cleaning the kitchens at St Leonard’s Court in Mundford three evenings a week as a way to supplement her income as a hairdresser in order to fund her son’s new motocross hobby.
She explained, “I loved the residents in the care home from day one and really looked forward to going to work – the people who owned the home at the time could see that and asked if I wanted to try some care shifts.
“There was no looking back for me. I was a bit naïve to start with but soon learnt what was involved. Care is hard work but so very rewarding.”
Soon Janice gave up her hairdressing business for a full-time career in care, and in the early 1990s transitioned from care home settings into homecare.
“People really look forward to the time in the day when their carer comes in – sometimes it is the only person they may be seeing in a day so we have to make that visit valuable and special for them, no matter how busy or pushed for time we may be.”
Janice was critical to the growth of Manorcourt Homecare, part of Healthcare Homes, and was eventually promoted to Operations Director.
