Dinky Ponies visit enjoyed by all at Ladymead care home

Our residents enjoy visits from animals of all shapes and sizes and at Ladymead care home in Swindon Poppy the therapy pony enjoyed being made fuss of recently.

Poppy came along from Dinky Ponies with her owner Sarah Woodland who takes the ponies around different care homes in Wiltshire as well as other areas.

There is lots of evidence to prove that animal visits are beneficial as they can brighten up the day, stimulate conversation and memories as well as help to relieve stress.
