Handford House welcomes new Home Manager

Handford House is thrilled to announce the appointment of Renata Sulugiuc as the new Home Manager. With over 14 years of experience as a registered nurse and a strong background in managing nursing homes, Renata is set to bring her compassionate and family-oriented approach to the heart of Handford House.

Renata is eager to enhance the standards of care at Handford House and looks forward to implementing a range of new initiatives aimed at promoting the well-being of residents. “I am delighted to officially start as Manager at Handford House and would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome. It has been wonderful meeting the team, residents, and families, and I am excited to get to know everyone better,” Renata expressed.

While Renata has a clear vision for the future, she understands the importance of continuity in care. “We have lots planned for the residents in the coming months, which is really exciting. Along with some new activities, we’ll continue offering the much-loved favourites,” she shared. Her goal is to maintain the close-knit, family atmosphere that has always made Handford House such a special place, while also introducing fresh ideas and opportunities to enrich the lives of its residents.

Renata’s open-door policy reflects her commitment to fostering strong relationships within the community. “My door is always open, and I encourage everyone to feel free to pop in and say hello,” she said, emphasising her desire for regular communication with both residents and their families.

As Handford House continues to serve the Ipswich community, the future looks bright with Renata Sulugiuc at the helm. Residents and families can look forward to an exciting journey ahead, filled with care, compassion, and new possibilities.
