A trip down memory lane at Fornham House

Residents at Fornham House near Bury St Edmunds have enjoyed a trip down memory lane thanks to the creativity of the activities team.

Activities co-ordinator Sarah organised a memory café for residents to enjoy, designed to spark memories and reminiscence about years gone by.  The team dressed up as the old rag and bone man, a chimney sweep and an old wishy washing woman.

They shared memories of London, the old trains, the underground and old and new types of washing machines. The team even created an old-fashioned sweet trolley which the residents loved.

Thank you Sarah and team!

Fornham House is based in Fornham St Martin near Bury St Edmunds.
