Healthcare Homes Supports the Rob George Foundation at Annual Golf Day

On Friday, 6th September 2024, Healthcare Homes had the privilege of supporting the Rob George Foundation (RGF) at their annual golf day, hosted by Colchester Golf Club. The day was filled with sunshine, smiles, and some truly impressive golfing performances, culminating in Healthcare Homes being honoured with a permanent spot on the prestigious Rob George Cup.

Our team

Our team, which included Matt King (Healthcare Homes), Tracey Dickens (Birkett Long), Ben Packham, and Paul Williams (both from NatWest Bank), embraced the challenge under clear skies and great camaraderie. The result? A triumphant win for the team, solidifying Healthcare Homes’ name on the Rob George Cup.

Matt King, thrilled with both the success and the cause, said, “I’m delighted that Healthcare Homes continues to support the RGF, a charity very close to our hearts. I’m equally surprised and excited to have won, but the real winners are the RGF and the young people they support. The foundation does incredible work, and I tip my cap to Pip and Lorraine for their tireless efforts.”

An amazing cause

The day was not only a great sporting event but also a meaningful fundraiser, raising over £4,000 in crucial funds for the Rob George Foundation. The funds will go a long way in helping the RGF continue their vital work, providing practical and financial support to young people facing life-threatening or terminal illnesses.

We’re honored to have been part of such a wonderful day and to continue our partnership with the Rob George Foundation. To learn more about the incredible work they do, visit their website here.

Congratulations to the RGF on another successful event, and thank you to all involved!
