Walcot Hall hosts summer fete with Mayor

Residents at Walcot Hall Nursing Home welcomed family members, friends and staff for the Walcot Hall Summer Fete on Friday 4 July.

This year’s event celebrated U.S. Independence Day with a Stars and Stripes theme. The home displayed red, white and blue decorations, while everyone enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment, refreshments and conversation.

The Mayor of Diss, Councillor Declan Craggs, officially opened the fete. Afterwards, he spent time chatting with residents and visitors.

The activities team plans the programme with residents, so it reflects their interests and hobbies. As a result, there is always something different to enjoy.

Every bedroom overlooks the gardens, lake or surrounding countryside. In addition, residents have access to spacious communal areas, an on-site hair salon and more than three acres of landscaped grounds.
