Doris, on her trip to RSPB Minsmere
Doris, a resident at Aldringham Court, enjoyed a special trip down memory lane when she returned to Minsmere after many years away.
She joined fellow residents for a visit to RSPB Minsmere. The group enjoyed time together at the café and took in the familiar surroundings.
The outing was particularly special for Doris. She had not visited the area for many years.
The trip gave her the chance to revisit a familiar part of Suffolk and remember times from earlier in her life.
The residents enjoyed a relaxed afternoon together. They also had the chance to get out and enjoy the local area.

Aldringham Court residents travel by minibus for their visit to Minsmere.
Aldringham Court sits in the village of Aldringham, close to the Suffolk Heritage Coast. The team regularly arranges outings for residents to enjoy the surrounding area.
Trips are planned around residents’ interests, memories and personal connections. This helps residents stay connected with places that are important to them.
For Doris, the visit to Minsmere was a chance to see a familiar part of Suffolk once again.
It was also a lovely opportunity for the residents to spend an afternoon together outside the care home.
