Sovereign Lodge wins ‘Best Community Involvement’ 2025 award

Sovereign Lodge has proudly won the Best Community Involvement Award in the Healthcare Homes InBloom competition for their outstanding gardening project.

The award celebrates homes that foster community spirit, family engagement, and resident participation, and Sovereign Lodge impressed judges with its teamwork and creativity.

A Garden Full of Community Spirit

For the project, residents, staff, and family members came together to create a vibrant and welcoming garden. They planted flowers and vegetables, shared stories, and enjoyed laughter-filled activities throughout the process.

Moreover, the project highlighted the home’s strong sense of community and teamwork. It showed that the gardens at Sovereign Lodge are about far more than plants—they are about connection, joy, and growing together. Residents and families alike felt involved, creating a meaningful experience for everyone.

The InBloom competition took place across the Healthcare Homes group. Consequently, all participating homes received a congratulatory letter from Sir David Attenborough, who wrote:
