Staff and residents at Olive House in Newton Flotman had a wonderfully international celebration this week by marking national Romanian Day.
Chef Mihaela Chirciu prepared a wonderful traditional Romanian menu for everyone to sample and explore, with Romanian flags decorating the home, whilst music from the country was played.
The residents absolutely loved tasting the traditional fayre or sarmale (stuffed cabbage leaves ), mamaliga (polenta) and mititei (spicy sausages).
Well done Mihaela!
