Sandown Park in Windsor welcomed Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead Councillor John Story to the home this week to present the residents with mugs to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
During his visit the Mayor chatted with staff and reminisced with residents about the Queen's 70 year reign.
Activities Co-ordinator Italio Castro said, "We really appreciated the time the Mayor spent with us and our residents felt privileged to have some pictures taken with him and enjoyed receiving their Platinum Jubilee mugs.
"We also were very pleased about his kind comments on the decorations we had put up for the occasion and the food which had been prepared by our chef.
