Residents and staff at Saxlingham Hall in Norfolk said farewell to much-loved Home Manager Theresa Parfitt who has retired from the home after 25 years.
Theresa originally came to the home as a Registered Nurse before becoming manager and was joined on here last day by staff past and present as well as Healthcare Homes Chief Finance Officer Matt King.

Home Administrator Wendy Rout said, “Theresa was presented with a tied bouquet of country flowers, a voucher for the Gunton Arms restaurant and hotel and she also planted a Liquidamber tree in the grounds of the nursing home which has beautiful autumn foliage.
“Our Head Chef, Sarah made a lovely assortment of buffet food for all to enjoy including Theresa’s favourite carrot cake.”

Saxlingham Hall is part of the Healthcare Homes family of 48 homes and 11 homecare branches in the east and south of the UK. The home provides residential, nursing and palliative care to the elderly living within Norfolk, it’s well known within the area and is ideal for those who have lived a country lifestyle.
