Much-loved team member Wendy Grant has retired from The Old Vicarage after 22 years as a carer.
A party was held to recognise Wendy’s long service at the home in Sherborne, Dorset, which gave residents and the team a chance to say goodbye.
Wendy, who’s sister Patsy also worked at The Old Vicarage for 16 years, was given a variety of gifts including a beautiful necklace, garden vouchers, a solar garden owl, a home spa gift set, a lovely mug, a cushion, flowers and a rose shrub for her garden.
Home Manager Jackie Leyland said, “Wendy was a very popular member of staff and will be missed by both staff and residents. We wish her well in her retirement.”
